STUDENTS from Middlewich High School have organised a comedy night at the Royal British Legion in Lewin Street.

The fifteen pupils are hosting the event to raise money for their trip to Costa Rica which will see them work on different conservation projects.

The students have been working hard to raise the funds for the trip as they are responsible for raising their own money, whether that be individually or as a team.

Recently nine of the students did a bag pack in Morrisons in Crewe to help with the fundraising efforts.

The comedy night is for over 18s only and includes a curry supper with the price of admission.

Performing will be Paddy Lennox, Roger Monkhouse, Josh Jones and MC Rob Riley.

Tickets are £15 and on sale from either the venue or the school, in King Edward Street.

The comedy event is on Friday, 13 July, and doors open at 7pm with supper being served at 8pm and the main comedy showcase starts at 8.30pm.
