TICKETS for the first night of Middlewich FAB Festival, headlined by Peter Hook and the Light, are on sale until Thursday, June 14.

Middlewich Town Council are advising that people interested in attending should get their tickets as soon as possible.

Liverpool band Pale Rider will be opening the festival.

Formed in 2017, they are for any fans of The Stooges and The Black Angels, with plenty of heavy riffs they will be bringing their noise rock sound to Middlewich.

Following Pale Rider are The Mysterines, a band still in their teens, who are known for melodic blues psych rock.

And before Peter Hook, Winsford band Deja Vega are making their return to Middlewich FAB Festival fresh off the back of their sell out North by Northwich performance in the Salty Dog.

Middlewich FAB Festival has also announced a new FAB Fringe location.

This year The Cheshire Cheese will join the festival by hosting several live performances over the weekend.

With its lounge, bar and beer garden, the traditional pub fits perfectly into the Fringe programme.

Dave Thompson, Middlewich FAB Festival event organiser, said: “Every single year Middlewich FAB Festival hosts an amazing weekend of live music.

Tickets are selling fast so I advise everyone to not leave it to the last minute because we expect it will sell out.

“I’m very happy that The Cheshire Cheese has joined our Fringe venues this year.

“With its fresh drinks and live music from artists like Marc Gollins, Taking Liberties and Bohemian Kings, The Cheshire Cheese makes a perfect Fringe pub.”

There is still time to buy individual tickets and family tickets at a FAB price for £24.50 per individual and £72.50 for a family via the online shop fabfestival.co.uk/shop.

Festival goers can also buy camping tickets for one, two, or three nights for more FAB Festival fun.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy a variety of activities alongside many food and beverage vendors. The full Fringe line-up can be found on the FAB app.
