THE 'Fringe' locations for this year’s Middlewich FAB Festival have been announced.

From the June 15 to 17, various artists will be performing at official fringe venues across the town.

The idea of the Fringe venues is that by going to these gigs, punters not only support the artists but the venues and local economy as well.

This year’s Fringe locations are The Big Lock, The Boars Head, The Kings Lock, Newton Brewery Inn, The White Bear, Middlewich Royal British Legion and the Narrowboat Inn. Each location offers a different experience with different artists performing throughout the day.

Dave Thompson, FAB Festival and events organiser for Middlewich Town Council, said: “The FAB Fringe is the backbone of this festival so we are very excited to announce this year’s venues. The fringe gigs are a collection of diverse live music so what’s not to like?”

“We would like to thank all the artists and venues for their support and we hope they get a lot of support in return.”

Jonathan Williams, Middlewich Town Council clerk, added: “Middlewich opens its doors to visitors from near and far over the festival weekend, and we know from their feedback, that the official fringe venues benefit from the promotion and extra income that Middlewich FAB Festival brings into the town.

"They put on some wonderful artists and it’s great to see both our local community and visitors supporting our official fringe venues.”
