The man had fallen into the canal yesterday evening
FIREFIGHTERS came to of a man in the canal near to Kinderton Street, in Middlewich.
When crews arrived at the scene in Kinderton Street, shortly before 6.40pm yesterday evening, they found the man in the water.
One fire engine attended from Middlewich, as well as the rope rescue unit and support appliance from Lymm.
They used safety equipment and a short extension ladder to rescue him. He was then taken into the care of paramedics.
