Middlewich’s Christmas lights switch on will feature a guest performance by Ronan Parke, former contestant on Britain’s Got Talent and cast member of Aladdin.
The event runs from 4pm until 7pm and will coincide with a festive themed mexon market and church carol concert from St Michael’s and All Angels.
Town mayor Cllr Samantha Moss will switch on the lights at 6pm.
Dave Thompson, Middlewich Town Council events organiser, said: “We’re really looking forward to it especially with the addition of the mexon market this year.
“I enjoy all the events in different ways but this is a real feel good time of the year but it will be nice to see young families out marking the occasion.
“More than likely I’ll meet people tomorrow who I have never seen at town events before and it is great to see.”
