DRIVERS in Middlewich and Byley could face disruption this week as roadworks hit the A530.

Cheshire East Council is expected to kick off the works tomorrow, November 13, as it carries out repairs at Croxton Bridge, in Croxton Lane.

Two-way traffic lights will be in operation while the works take place, which is expected to last no longer than a day.

BT will then be carrying out works at three locations on the road later on in the week.

Two-way traffic lights will be in use in Croxton Lane from Wednesday, November 15 to Friday, November 17, between Croxton Hall Farm and the junction with King Street.

Temporary lights will also be in use near the junction with the B5309 at King Street from Wednesday to Saturday, November 18, and next weekend in Croxton Lane, near the junction with The Windings.

Delays are expected as a result of all sets of roadworks.
