KFC’s Add Hope Foundation has made a donation of £126,563 to Millington children’s charity CAFT.

CAFT, the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust, says the ‘life-changing’ amount of money will serve as a huge contribution to the £1 million it needs to raise each year to operate.

The donation comes from customers at KFC branches across Cheshire purchasing fundraising scratch cards.

CAFT fundraiser Helen Crowther said: “We’re absolutely blown away by the support KFC have shown our charity.

“This is a huge amount of money for us which will change the lives of children living with difficulties most of us couldn’t even imagine.

“This donation has been made possible thanks to the hard work of everyone at KFC and the generosity of customers who have supported their campaign, we really can’t thank them all enough.”

The trust has been providing holidays, daytrips and Christmas parties for ill, disabled and disadvantaged children since 1992.

KFC’s Cheshire-based franchisees nominated CAFT as the beneficiaries of its funds this year.
