FORMER England Test stars including Tim Bresnan and Michael Vaughan will visit Middlewich tomorrow as part of a 362 mile charity cycle around the UK.

On Saturday, October 14 a host of participants in the Big Bike Ride 3 will stop at Middlewich Cricket Club as part of day two of their five day journey.

All proceeds from the cycle will be shared between PCA Benevolent Fund and the Tom Maynard Trust which supports aspiring young sports people.

Ian Corrigan, secretary at Middlewich Cricket Club, said: “There are quite a few well known cricketers taking part in the bike ride.

“The riders will be stopping for about 20 minutes at the club so there will be an opportunity to say hello, grab an autograph and cheer them on their way.”

Bresnan and Vaughan, as well as fellow stars Graeme Fowler, Marcus Trescothick, Gavin Hamilton and David Fulton, will pass through Middlewich at approximately 2pm.

The venue can be found in Haddon Field, Croxton Lane.
