PLANNING chiefs have given a Byley firm the green light to build a new warehouse – paving the way for 14 new jobs.
Cheshire West and Chester Council has granted planning permission to HW Coates, in Byley Lane, for the detached industrial warehouse with two-storey office, canopy and service yard.
The firm, which currently employs 65 people, expects to create 14 full-time jobs as part of its expansion plan, which aims to 'maintain viability' and attract new customer orders.
In recommending the planning application for approval, CWAC officers said: "Subject to suitable conditions the proposal is considered to be acceptable.
"Whilst the site is within the open countryside, the development will be well screened and associated well with the existing industrial area.
"The proposals would not result in any significant harm to highways safety, residential amenity, protected species or flood risk."
