A LONGRIDGE resident has welcomed the council’s bid to enforce double yellow lines at the estate entrance.
Cheshire East Council is proposing to enforce the lines along the west side of the road from the Mobberley Road junction through the entirety of the S-bend. Lines would run a similar distance on the eastern carriageway, with breaks either side of the trading estate junction.
Peter Russell said: “The last few months have been unbelievable around there, it’s dangerous.”
If passed, proposals would allow traffic wardens and PCSOs to ticket offenders.
