FIONA Bruce MP hosted a parliamentary reception for Arthritis Research UK.
Attendees heard first-hand accounts of people living with the condition and invited MPs and peers to consider what positive action they can take to help find a cure.
Fiona spoke of her own experiences with arthritis and also called upon the government to make it a health priority.
Mrs Bruce said: “Millions of people in the UK are living with the pain, fatigue and isolation of arthritis without the support they need.
“We need to put the needs of people with the condition higher up the political agenda so we can transform the lives of those affected.
“This event was vital in getting MPs engaged and information, and was a powerful and much-needed call to action.”
