'Severe delays' on M6 after multi-vehicle crash
MOTORISTS are being warned of 'severe delays' on the M6 between junction 16 and 19 after a multi-vehicle crash.
Traffic on the northbound carriage is delayed for more than an hour following the crash, which happened between junction 18 for Middlewich and Holmes Chapel and junction 19 for Knutsford shortly before 5pm.
One lane remains closed while emergency services attend to the incident.
Highways England tweeted: "There are severe delays now on the #M6 northbound between J16 and J19 due to a collision. 1 lane closed between J18-J19. Please plan ahead."
