SUN shining, blue skies and ice cream in hand.

We all know what summer should look like.  

And this month we're looking for your pictures which encapsulate the season beautifully whether it's summer in Northwich, Winsford, Middlewich, Knutsford or Wilmslow. 

Our favourite shots will then be shortlisted for the July photo in our 2018 calendar. 

Judges will be keeping an eye out for images clearly taken in the area and appropriate for July.

Our Through The Lens Club competition was launched at the start of the year as we search for photographs to highlight the beauty of the area we live in.

Winners will be announced at the end of the year and invited into our new office in Warrington to see the calendar in print as well as the chance to pick up tips from our picture editor Dave Gillespie who has more than 30 years of experience in the field.

Pictures should be landscape-shaped rather than portrait.
