THE winners have been selected for Middlewich’s ‘Your Heritage’ photographic competition.
In the competition’s eighth year, the wildlife and general topics proved difficult for judges Don Williamson, David Hubbard and Matt Parry, who took two hours to find the winners.
The overall winner was Ray Hill, a first time entrant who won the wildlife category with Male Red Deer Bellowing.
All photographs were exhibited at the FAB Festival where visitors voted for Jayne Lomax as the people’s choice with her entry Ruffled Feathers.
Judge David Hubbard said: “Again a high number of entries with the natural history topics standing out.”
Winners included William McCaig, Dusty Track, Autumn from the Edge and White Bear (general, landscape and built heritage categories), Ray Hill, Male Red Deer Bellowing (wildlife category), Jayne Lomax (waterways category) and Morgan Burgess, River Flight (young photographer).
All category winners won vouchers of their choice.
