A MIDDLEWICH man has died after a car crash in the town centre.

Lloyd Jonathan Keith Lannin, 24, from Middlewich, was killed following a collision on St Michael’s Way.

On Sunday, May 28 at 10.40pm police were called to reports of a crash between a pedestrian and a blue Volkswagen Golf.

Mr Lannin sustained serious injuries and was taken to Royal Stoke Hospital where he died two days later on May 30.

Mr Lannin’s family said: “Young, outgoing, heart and soul of the family heart of gold and a cheeky chap with the biggest smile.”

The driver of the Golf, 44, from Stoke, was uninjured. No arrests have been made.
