Man dead after fatal crash on M6
A MAN has died after a fatal crash on the M6.
At 10.45am on Saturday, May 20, police were called to reports of a crash between a Mercedes large goods vehicle and a blue Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The motorcycle driver, 53, from Midway, Derbyshire, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash one mile from junction 18 on the M6 northbound.
The road was closed for approximately seven hours with a four and a half mile queue.
The driver of the large goods vehicle was uninjured.
