A NEWTON Heath blaze has been successfully tackled by firefighters
Two fire engines were called to Newton Heath, Middlewich at 11.50am today after a fire broke out in an outbuilding attached to a disused property.
Two hose reel jets were used by firefighters, two in breathing apparatus, to bring the fire under control.
The crews peeled back the roof of the outbuilding and used a thermal imaging camera to make sure there were no further outbreaks.
Firefighters were at the scene for two hours.
