Emergency closure begins on major Middlewich road
AN EMERGENCY closure on Cledford Lane will see the road closed until May 12.
A notice from Cheshire East Council has confirmed that urgent bridge repair works will take place Monday, April 24 to Friday, May 12 with the road closed all the time.
The stretch affected is Cledford Lane, Middlewich, and acts approximately 50m either side of the railway bridge.
Pedestrian access to any premises situated within the closure will be maintained at all times and vehicular access will be maintained for emergency and residential needs.
The notice may be extended for a further 21 days if necessary.
