FIREFIGHTERS were called to a Middlewich home after cooking was left unattended.
At 4.15pm on Thursday, March 20, firefighters were called to Hayhurst Avenue after a fire alarm was set off due to smoke from cooking which had been left unattended.
No one was home at the time and firefighters used a large fan to remove smoke from the property.
