FOUR Mobberley mums are holding a charity ball in April ahead of their Mount Kilimanjaro climb later this year.

Friends Rachel Abel, Nicola Howarth, Caroline Hoyle and Samara Collins have drafted in 80s TV star Andy Crane to host the Lullaby Ball, which will take place at Mere Golf Club to raise money for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

Louis’ Lullaby Ladies was set up by the four mums after Caroline sadly lost her son Louis to the condition in January 2015.

It provides support to individuals in Caroline’s situation and the group is hoping to raise a ‘mountain of money’ by taking on the 11-day excursion, with their sights set on £20,000.

Ahead of climbing the highest mountain in Africa in October, the ball will feature a three-course meal, an auction and a DJ set from Madchester DJ Clint Boon.

Caroline said: “We’re very excited to be hosting such a fantastic event at The Mere.

“The Lullaby trust is a charity close to my heart and rely totally on events like this to fund invaluable research and support to families like mine.”

The Lullaby Ball will take place from 7pm to 1am on Friday, April 21.

Tickets, sponsorship opportunities and more information is available at the group’s website, louislullabyladies.com.
