TRAINING company boss Norman Kennish has thanked all his loyal customers for their support as his firm celebrates its 20th anniversary.

Kentra Training Ltd, which is based in Middlewich, specialises in providing on-site training, providing courses in the use of hand tools through to fork lift truck licences and plant operator tickets.

Its courses cover all areas of industry and the construction sector, incorporating agricultural requirements and horticulture equipment.

The company was established in February 1997, with Norman being first registered as an instructor in 1985 and a commercial consultant/trainer from 1989.

Since then the business has continued to grow, resulting in the need for Norman’s wife Tricia to join the company as a partner, followed by their children Emma and John into the family business it is today.

“We would like to thank our loyal customers who have used our services over the past 20 years, and we hope to continue assisting with their training requirements for many years to come,” said Norman, the managing director of the business.

“A purpose-built office was created in 2005 and proved successful.

The possibility of obtaining a piece of land upon which to run a combined training school and office facility are a possible option in the future.

“The latter however is proving quite difficult to obtain as it appears that suitable land is at a premium.

“In 2015 the office was re-located to accommodate more staff and greater flexibility for business growth.”
