MIDDLEWICH Town Council has launched its heritage photographic competition for 2017.
Supported by Middlewich-based Jugglers Management Accounting, the competition is open to all with all entries to be displayed at the Victoria Hall during FAB Festival weekend.
Categories include landscape, wildlife, heritage, waterways and general photography.
There are also split categories for budding photographers aged up to 10 years old, 11 to 17 years old, amateurs aged 18 and over and semi-professionals. Entrants can submit up to three photographs in each category, and entry is free.
Prizes of £25 will be given to the best in each category, and the overall winner will receive a trophy.
The People’s Choice award is also on offer, with votes cast when submissions are on display at FAB Festival.
Photographs must be taken in Cheshire and be less than two years old.
Enter before June 9 by delivering your photo print to the town council offices. Call 01606 833434 for more information.
