A MAN has been charged with a number of offences following incidents across Cheshire, including three that happened in Middlewich.
James Duncan, 25, of no fixed abode, was charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of possession of a bladed article, blackmail, criminal damage, theft, and two counts of assault.
The charges include three Middlewich incidents – criminal damage to a property and theft on November 9, and blackmail on November 12.
Further charges relate to incidents in Crewe, Macclesfield and Congleton in September and November.
Following an appearance at South and East Cheshire Magistrates in Crewe on November 30, he was remanded in custody and will appear at Chester Crown Court on January 3.
