AN application has been lodged to demolish five garages off Wheelock Street and build two new units for office or retail use.
The garages, behind Harry Jon Hair and Makeup at 43 Wheelock Street, will be replaced with two single-storey “flexible use” units, suitable for an office or shop.
The floor space would total 186sq m under new plans, which were lodged on November 21. Comments can be made on the application until December 12.
A decision is expected on or before January 16.
