A VEHICLE fire has forced one lane of the M6 north to close between Middlewich and Knutsford.
Highways England reported the incident at around 3pm, with traffic officers and fire crews attending the scene.
Highways advise that delays are likely between junctions 18 and 19 while recovery takes place.
