A Highways England traffic camera showed the damage
TRAFFIC is at a standstill on the M6 southbound between Knutsford and Middlewich, following a crash involving a lorry and a car.
Emergency services were en route at around 12.30pm, but traffic had already built up to a standstill with two lanes closed.
Delays are expected to last much of the afternoon through the roadworks between junctions 19 and 18.
