THREE men and a boy were arrested on suspicion of drug offences in Middlewich on Monday, following a search involving a police helicopter.
A 35-year-old Middlewich man, along with two men aged 20 and 22 and a 17-year-old boy all from Liverpool, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
Police had spotted two men acting suspiciously at 10.51am in St Michaels Way, and enlisted the help of officers on the ground and the police helicopter to search the area.
The three men were bailed pending further enquiries, while the 17-year-old was wanted on warrant for another matter and appeared in court yesterday.
Cheshire Police tweeted on Monday morning that they were looking for 'suspicious males' believed to be involved in drug dealing in the Webbs Lane area.
A Middlewich resident told the Guardian that a helicopter was circling in a "tight" area over Newton Bank shortly after 11.20am.
