THE Mayor of Middlewich will officially open Newton Court Bupa Care Home’s summer fair this weekend.
Cllr Pam Farrell, who was made mayor in May, will kick off the day’s proceedings at 1pm this Saturday, July 23, at the care home in St Ann’s Road.
Residents and staff have extended an open invitation to the community to join them and enjoy a range of stalls, traditional fun fair games, a fire engine display and live music from Sandbach and District U3A Brass Band.
Events will continue at Newton Court through until 5pm.
Linda Brooks, home manager at Newton Court, said: “Our residents are really looking forward to the day and welcoming some new faces.
"It’s a wonderful opportunity to bring the community together and we hope they will join us for what promises to be a fantastic day.”
