FIONA Bruce has lent her name to a campaign which hopes to boost the number of stem cell and bone marrow donors.
The Middlewich MP also attended a celebrity-backed event at the Houses of Parliament, hosted by stem cell charity Team Margot.
Named in memory of Margot Martini, a toddler who lost a battle with leukaemia aged just two, the organisation campaigns to boost stem cell donor numbers.
Around 150 people attended the reception event in Westminster, including Olympic champion Daley Thompson and actor Alistair Petrie.
Fiona said: “We urgently need to boost the number of donors on the UK stem cell and bone marrow register and I urge as many of my constituents in my constituency to sign up to the register.”
