MIDDLEWICH Clean Team held a party in celebration of the Queen’s 90th birthday at the weekend.
Members were invited to the do, on the corner of Warmingham Lane and Long Lane, between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday, June 25.
The unpredictable weather was kind to those who attended, with sunshine for the duration of the event.
A grant from Cheshire East Council helped run the party, while a gazebo was loaned from the town council and decorated with bunting and union flags.
Café Bon Bon provided a white chocolate party cake, with Cups and Cakes providing further party cakes.
Morrisons also provided some vouchers, which went towards crisps and sandwiches.
Accompanying the food and sunshine, Stoke-based group The Rain Acoustic Duo provided the soundtrack to the day.
Food left over from the event was donated to a homeless hostel.
