THIS year’s FAB Festival will see 50 acts perform across eight official fringe venues, with all performances free to attend.

Fringe venues will offer a range of local and international talent, as the event kicks on in its 26th year.

The official fringe venues are Middlewich Legion, Middlewich Narrowboats, The Big Lock, The Boar’s Head Hotel, The King’s Lock Inn, The Narrowboat Inn, The White Bear, and The Newton Brewery.

Festival organiser Dave Thomson said: “We’re delighted the FAB Fringe is attracting such a wide range of local, national and international talent.

“The FAB Fringe is vital to the festival’s success, providing diversity that appeals to a wide range of audiences. The daily programme is hugely popular, delivering fantastic free entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

“We are proud of the work by the eight official venues this year, in making Middlewich FAB Festival better than ever.

“We hope to see record numbers coming to Middlewich FAB Festival in 2016 to help drive our local economy.”

International artists booked to perform at fringe venues across the weekend include CODA from Ireland, The Roamin’ Jasmine from New Orleans, and Billy Lee and the Swamp Critters from San Diego For a full list of artists, timings and venues, visit www.midfest.org.uk.
