THE FAB Day of Dance returns to town this Bank Holiday weekend, now in its third year.

Dancers will be performing at the Bull Ring with elite groups kicking off proceedings at midday on Saturday.

Damian Castillo Diaz will then head up Latin dance workshops from 12.30pm, before event organiser Dianne Coleman leads a dancercise and Zumba session from 12.45pm.

Following Dianne is Sandra Garrett, with a ‘dance for fun’ session from 1.30pm.

The day coincides with the Wheelock Street Makers Market, and marks three weeks until the 26th annual FAB Festival which runs from Friday, June 17 through to Sunday, June 19.

Wheelock Street will once again play host to Cheshire’s finest foodies this Saturday, as the Makers Market returns to town.

The monthly event will see 50 stalls accommodate food, drink and crafts, while also celebrating a 'Taste and Tipple' event, new for 2016.

Visitors will be able to not just sample but learn about the produce, including how to serve the perfect coffee and make preserves.

The family day out offers something for everyone, with sweet and savoury breads, summer pies, award-winning cheeses and chocolate treats for those with a sweet tooth.

As well as food, unique gifts are on offer from handmade cushions and candles to shoes and dog toys.

Artists and modern craft-makers will also be showcasing their creations.

Stalls will be open along Wheelock Street on Saturday between 10am and 3pm.
