A NEW hair and beauty salon celebrated its Middlewich opening with an official launch night last week.

Harry Jon Hair and Makeup, based on Wheelock Street and run by Clare Ardern, first opened its doors earlier in the year but took last Tuesday night to thank the public for its support.

The night consisted of exhibitions, demonstrations for prospective customers and free fizz for all, leaving Clare delighted by the community response.

“It was a really good event and it was nice to see some new faces, as well as people who have already visited us,” she said.

“From the feedback, everyone has really enjoyed themselves and enjoyed the experience, so I am really pleased with that.

“We want to say a big thank you to the local community for their support – it has been absolutely amazing.”

Clare also expressed her thanks to Diddibox Flowers, which provided the night’s impressive floral display, Dream Dress Bridal for supplying a dress for a front window display, and photographer Sue Westwood-Ruttledge.

Having worked freelance for eight years across the country, including on TV shows and music videos, Clare is now excited to settle down with a permanent base near to home.

Services at Harry Jon include hair and makeup for all occasions, from small parties to weddings.
