A MIDDLEWICH man has been charged with possession of a knife in a public place and possession of cannabis.
The 20-year-old was arrested by Cheshire Police on Wednesday evening in possession of the class B drug and a three-and-a-half inch blade.
Only folding pocket knives with a blade of less than three inches can legally be carried in public in the UK.
The man was bailed until June 15, when he will appear at South and East Cheshire Magistrates Court.
