THREE people are due to appear in court in connection with an investigation into distraction thefts, including one in Middlewich.
Two men, aged 21 and 46, and a woman, aged 42, all from the Birmingham area, have been charged with conspiracy to steal.
They were arrested on the M6 in Staffordshire on Tuesday, April 12, and were subsequently charged with three thefts including one from a vehicle at Morrison’s car park on Monday, April 11.
The other thefts in relation to the conspiracy happened in Warrington and Crewe.
The trio were remanded into custody to appear before East Cheshire Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, April 16.
Following this appearance they were further remanded into custody and are next due to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday, May 16.
