MIDDLEWICH played host to the annual meeting of Cheshire Clean Teams this month.
Representatives of litter picking groups throughout Cheshire including Nantwich, Crewe, Moston, Wilmslow and Alsager attended the meeting on Wednesday, April 6, at the White Bear in Wheelock Street.
The meeting was hosted by Middlewich Clean Team – the longest running clean team in Cheshire - and managers from Ansa and Cheshire East Council also attended.
Hot topics included fly tipping, enforcement, fundraising, littering from cars, safety, and litter picking. Refreshments were provided by Ansa.
The next Middlewich Clean Team litter pick will be on Monday, May 16, at 2pm, meeting on the Tesco car park. Call 01606 836263 for more information on litter picks.
