THE Royal British Legion Middlewich Branch visited Middlewich High School for a remembrance service.
Members of the Middlewich RBL led a procession through the school yesterday, Friday, November 6, before a wreath was laid in front of the school’s remembrance memorials by the pupils who are army, sea and air cadets.
Year 11 pupil Emma Drew also gave a rendition of The Last Post.
Elaine Atkin-Nash, from Middlewich High School, said: “We were honoured to welcome The Royal British Legion and His Worship Ken Kingston, Mayor of Middlewich to our Remembrance Assembly this morning.
“As a school, we feel that it is vital for our students to learn of the sacrifices that were made for us by the previous generations of both our town and our school and it is important for us to honour them.”
