PEOPLE in Middlewich can ‘let a light shine’ in memory of a loved one this Christmas by dedicating a star to be placed on the ‘Tree of Lights’ in Middlewich Cemetery.

 Middlewich Cemetery Board are inviting people to celebrate a life at Christmas by dedicating a star onto the tree in the cemetery in Chester Road.

To dedicate a star, collect one from either the town council offices or Middlewich Library in Lewin Street, and no28 in Hightown, and return them to the council offices to enable them to be laminated for the ceremony, which will be held on Tuesday, December 1 at 6pm.

All stars will by staff on a tree in the cemetery just before the ceremony. After the ceremony, light refreshments are available.

The stars will remain on the tree until after the twelfth night of Christmas.
