QUEEN Street United Reformed Church in Middlewich is holding a Coffee and Cake Afternoon for St Luke’s Hospice as part of their Harvest Weekend celebrations.

It will take place on Saturday, October 10, from 2pm to 4pm. The event will be held in the church so those coming to support St Luke’s can view the harvest displays.

This year the theme of the displays is ‘The Colours of Harvest’. The cakes will all be home-made and there is no admission charge but donations will be welcomed for St Luke’s Hospice.

On Saturday evening, following the Harvest Supper, Amy Grierson will be giving an audio/visual presentation of her visit to India a few months ago with other students from Middlewich High School as part of World Challenge.

On Sunday, October 11, the church community will be celebrating harvest with a family service at 10.30am and a Harvest Evening Praise at 6.30pm led by Rev David Spence.
