FIREFIGHTERS attended a kitchen fire at a house in Warmingham Lane in Middlewich after a discarded jacket caught fire.
One fire engine from Crewe and one from Middlewich fire station were called to the house at 6.18pm on Tuesday, September 1.
The fire was caused when a jacket was left on top of a cooker and fire fighters put out the fire and gave the occupier a home safety assessment before leaving.
