MIDDLEWICH businesswoman Emma Dalzell has been shortlisted for a prestigious ‘Woman in Business Award’.

The founder and managing director or Middlewich-based marketing company Bare Bones Marketing has been named as a nominee for the annual awards.

The award ceremony is run by Forward Ladies and is sponsored this year by HSBC and Microsoft. The aim is to highlight and celebrate the vital part that talented women play and recognize and reward their success.

Emma said: "I am delighted to have been shortlisted for the Forward Ladies Woman in Business Awards. We have grown so much since I started Bare Bones Marketing four years ago and I'm thrilled that a Middlewich business can be represented at such prestigious and nationally recognised awards.

“This year's competition is very tough, the calibre of business women really is outstanding, so it means all the more to be shortlisted. I'm really proud to have been recognised for the work we do with business, charities, education and the community."

The north west and Isle of Man awards ceremony will be hosted by ITV News reporter, Charlene White, at the Radisson Blu Edwardian in Manchester in October.
