CHARITABLE organisations in Middlewich are being invited to bid for capital projects funding.

NHS South Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), which manages health care in Middlewich, is urging not-for-profit organisations in the area to apply for funding.

Simon Whitehouse, chief executive of NHS South Cheshire CCG and NHS Vale Royal CCG, said: “Our capital projects funding is a great opportunity for us to work in partnership with local community and voluntary organisations to improve the health and wellbeing of our local population.

“Last year’s funding helped to support a diverse number of services in the local area and we hope to continue the variety of support this year.

“We welcome bids from third sector organisations, including charities and social enterprises, for projects that support our strategic objectives.”

All bids must demonstrate a health and wellbeing benefit to people living in south Cheshire.

Funding can be invested in assets that cost more than £5,000 (individually or as grouped assets) and monies must be spent by the end of March 2016.

All bids must be submitted by 5pm on Monday, September 7.
