A PUPIL from Byley Primary School visited Stewart Milne Homes’ brand new Jersey Fields show home to see the bedroom she designed transformed from paper to reality.

Leah Grayson, 10, got the exciting opportunity after entering a design competition run by the home builder, asking kids in the Middlewich area to create their dream bedroom.

Leah took home first prize with her girly room and saw her design brought to life in the new Denewood show home at Jersey Fields. Leah also won £100 to spend on art supplies and a further £250 worth of supplies were gifted to Byley Primary School to encourage creative talent within the school.

Leah discovered she had won when Lynne Boothroyd from Stewart Milne Homes surprised her at a school assembly on Thursday, March 12, to give her the prize.

She then visited the Jersey Fields show home before it officially opened on Saturday, March 15, along with her mum and dad, and head teacher Kay Walsh, to see her dream bedroom for the first time.

Lynne Vogel, sales manager for Stewart Milne Homes, said: “We were really impressed by the quality of entries we received and just how creative the children in Middlewich are.

“After careful consideration we decided Leah’s design was the perfect fit for the kids’ bedroom in our new Jersey Fields show home and it was lovely to see her reaction when she saw it brought to life.”

The work on the Jersey Fields site has now been completed and the final phase of homes at the development are now on sale from £154,950.
