WE are making some exciting changes to your favourite local newspaper from next week.

Back by popular demand are new separate editions of the Northwich Guardian and the Winsford and Middlewich Guardian.

Editor Carla Flynn said: "After merging the titles in 2013, our loyal readers from Northwich, Winsford and Middlewich have maintained that they would prefer to have their own editions. And we’ve listened."

Inside your new-look Guardian you will still get a comprehensive overview of what’s happening in and around mid Cheshire as a whole, but there will be more focus on local news and sport from your particular areas.

We’re launching a new-look community section called Where You Live, which will feature local news from residents, groups and charities.

And sports fans will be delighted to know that as well as continued first-class coverage of grass roots sport, more space will be given to the areas’ leading teams.

Don’t forget our feature pages too.

Schools & Colleges – We champion the achievements of our pupils and students.

Business – We showcase the success of local companies.

Remember When – Our weekly look at all our yesteryears.

Pedal Power – the Guardian’s campaign to encourage people to enjoy the great outdoors.

Our Opinion pages have always been popular as readers have their say on what’s happening in their area.

We’re now expanding this section to include more of the views you express on our website and on our Facebook pages. And don’t forget our columnists too – the Fly in the Ointment column and Jeremy Craddock.

If you would like to comment on what’s happening in your area, then send your letters to yourviews@guardiangrp.co.uk.

Our Weekend section is a comprehensive look at what’s happening in and around our area, from annual shows to weekly get-togethers and from gigs to theatre productions.

Look out for the Northwich Guardian and the Winsford and Middlewich Guardian in newsagents on Wednesday.
