TEACHING assistants at Middlewich High School were awarded certificates for passing phase one of the Teacher, Effectiveness, Enhancement Programme (TEEP).
All teaching staff at the school were awarded the certificate last year and now the school’s teaching assistants have followed suit.
Mark Edwards, deputy head teacher at Middlewich High School, said: “Following the success of our TEEP phase one certification for all of our teachers we are proud to recognise the excellent effort from our teaching assistants who have also been awarded the TEEP phase one status.”
TEEP is a professional approach to outstanding learning and progress and uses an approach where pupils are encouraged to engage from the moment they enter the classroom, solve problems together cooperatively and then apply their new knowledge.
