A LORRY carrying crates of the energy drink Red Bull has crashed on the M6 between junction 19 and 18 spilling thousands of cans across the road.
Motorists are being urged to avoid the area after the incident happened shortly after 12pm.
All lanes of the motorway have now been reopened.
However, Cheshire Police said officers are expecting delays to continue and drivers are advised to find alternative routes where possible.
There is also slow moving traffic northbound on the M6 between J18/19 due to motorists slowing down to look. #keepmoving
