A FIFTY-SIX-YEAR-OLD Middlewich man who was left fighting for his life in hospital after being found with stomach injuries in Moston is now described as ‘poorly but stable.’
The man was found by a jogger at around 11am on Tuesday, January 20, on Dragons Lane in Moston.
He was taken to North Staffordshire Hospital by air ambulance where he is currently being treated and a police spokesman has confirmed his condition is poorly but stable.
Police say they are not seeking anyone in connection with the incident.
A Spokesman from Cheshire Police said: “At 11.10am on Tuesday 20 January, police received a report of a concern for the welfare of a man on Dragons Lane in Moston.
“On arrival, police discovered a man with an injury to his stomach.
“The man, who is aged 56 and from the Middlewich area, was taken to North Staffordshire Hospital.
“Officers are investigating how the man came to receive his injuries and are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident at this stage.”
