MIDDLEWICH mayor Clr Paul Edwards has spoke of his pride of the town for its participation in their Remembrance service.

The town mayor, who laid a wreath at Sunday’s commemoration in the town, was overwhelmed by the amount of people who took part in the remembrance.

“The town has always had very good participation, and more and more people want to be a part of it,” said Clr Edwards.

“We had between 600 and 700 people at the service, which was very dignified."

More pictures of the service are featured in this week's Guardian.
