CLEDFORD Primary School wowed parents with an open day showcasing a typical day for pupils at the school.
The school opened its doors to the public on Thursday, November 6, and parents were given a glimpse of the day-to-day teaching and activities.
During the open day, the school showed off one of their ‘wow’ days which each year group experience once a term and show pupils immersing themselves into their current topics with various fun activities.
The year four pupils dressed up in togas for their wow day and made Greek head dresses, Greek food, and did some Greek writing.
Jane Booth, head teacher at Cledford Primary School, said: “We had a brilliant day and I really enjoyed talking to the parents about our school.
“We didn’t want to show things as a one off or something we would do only once every so often, we wanted to show what the children do on a regular basis here.
“So we had the wow day which happen about once a week, and we had drama classes going on and it went really well.”
