YOUNG people in Middlewich who participate in the National Citizen Service will benefit from a new £20,000 minibus donated by Vauxhall.

The 17-seat Movano minibus has been donated to the Cheshire East NCS to help transport participants during the programme run by the Youth Federation.

The programme aims to provide opportunities to young people to develop new skills, meet new people and make a difference to their local community.

NCS participants in Middlewich recently renovated the Croxton Park and Trail in the town and created an adventure trail for children as part of the programme.

Chris Hindley, CEO of Youth Federation, said: “We are delighted that Vauxhall Motors has recognised the value of the NCS and we are extremely grateful to all the employees at the Ellesmere Port plant for nominating our charity.”
